Companies from Uzbekistan will be able to carry out cargo transportation through Afghanistan
BAKU /Trend/ - Afghanistan will lift restrictions imposed on national carriers from Uzbekistan in international cargo transportation through its territory, the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan reported, reports Trend.According to the information, the agreements were reached as a result of a meeting between the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Makhkamov, and representatives of the delegation headed by the Acting Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Hamidullo Ohunzoda.
It is reported that restrictions for Uzbek carriers in transit and delivery of goods to third countries and regions of Afghanistan have been lifted.
The parties also set specific goals for the mutually beneficial establishment of tariffs and fees for international road transport, starting in 2024.
