Pakistan and Uzbekistan held a logistics forum in Tashkent
The forum will strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries and provide an opportunity to discuss issues in the field of logistics and transport.
On June 29, as part of the “Made in Pakistan” exhibition, which takes place in Tashkent, a logistics forum was held. This event became a platform for discussing the problems and prospects of logistics in the region, exploring new directions and deepening cooperation in the field of logistics and transport, which are considered important sectors for economic and social development.

As part of this event, industry experts, politicians and business representatives discussed strategies for expanding trade and ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

During the forum, it was emphasized that the Trans-Afghan Corridor will become not only a trade route, but also a bridge of mutual prosperity and cultural exchange. It was also noted that the discussions held at the forum pave the way for policies and practices that can significantly reduce transit times, reduce costs and improve the overall efficiency of supply chains.

Pakistan's strategic location serves as a gateway to the Arabian Sea and major shipping lanes connecting South and Central Asia and the Middle East. Pakistan's investment in infrastructure, including highways, Gwadar and Karachi ports, and improved rail connectivity, will improve the efficiency of transit trade.

The logistics sector is of great importance for further strengthening trade and transit relations between the two countries. To this end, the forum brought together public and private companies from Pakistan and Uzbekistan, including leading players in the logistics sector, to explore new opportunities to increase bilateral and transit trade.
