Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriyev met with Laszlo Boros, CEO of Hungarian company "Magnus Aircraft Zrt."
The meeting discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the aviation sector. The main topic was the possibility of producing Magnus Fusion 212 light aircraft in Uzbekistan.
The Hungarian company "Magnus Aircraft Zrt." is an international player in the aerospace market, specializing in the design and sale of innovative aircraft made from high-strength composite materials. The main production facilities and headquarters are located in the city of Pogán, covering about 8,000 square meters, close to the Pech-Pogán International Airport.
Currently, the Magnus group is actively expanding its global presence, with offices in the USA, China, Serbia, and several countries in Africa and the Middle East. Cooperation with such a partner could open new opportunities for the development of general aviation in Uzbekistan and the implementation of modern composite manufacturing technologies.
