A delegation of Azerbaijan headed by Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev arrived in Uzbekistan to discuss with the official circles of Uzbekistan issues of cooperation in the transport and communications, investment and trade and economic spheres.

“Our main task is to apply modern foreign experience in the production process, as well as expand the localization system in enterprises. I hope that our close cooperation will serve as the foundation for strengthening the role of domestic agricultural machinery on the domestic and foreign markets,” Muhtor Karimov, Chairman of the Board of Uzagrotekhsanoatholding, said.

During the event, negotiations were held between the Azerbaijani delegation and representatives of Uzagrotekhsanoatholding on the supply of agricultural equipment. In 2018, Uzagrotekhsanoatholding exported over 70 types of agricultural equipment to Azerbaijan. This year, the equipment produced in our country will be presented at agricultural exhibitions in Azerbaijan, which will give impetus to the increase in its exports.

Today the structure of Uzagrotehsanoatholding includes such companies as the Tashkent and Chirchik plants of agricultural machinery, Agregatny zavod, Tekhnolog and Urganchkormash, as well as UzCLAASAgro, Lemken-Chirchik, UzKaysmash. and Amkodor-Agrotechmash. In 2018, more than 11,000 units of agricultural machinery were produced at these enterprises.
