To provide quality services to residents of Tashkent region and its guests, joint stock company Uzbekistan Temir Yollari implements a number of projects, one of which is waiting for a long time and with great hope in the center of the coal industry of Uzbekistan - the city Angren. A new and modern railway station will soon open its doors to its passengers.

The general plan of the building was developed by Toshtemiryo’lloyiha LLC specialists, the press service of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari said. Located in the city center, the station will be able to simultaneously serve about 100 passengers. During the construction of the terminal, modern requirements for such facilities were taken into account.

In particular, the station has a waiting room, a VIP-room, a first-aid post, a mother-and-child room, a snack bar, mobile outlets, an electronic data center and information boards. Special attention was paid to the air conditioning system. To ensure the safety of passengers in certain places, video surveillance is organized, in case of fire emergency exits are provided.

The project also built a platform with a length of 250 meters. In order to save passenger time, the railway ticket office is located in the same building.

The opening of the new railway station “Angren” will take place in the coming days. Three local trains and one international train will pass through it.
