Partners from China will help to build an industrial zone in Uzbekistan

According to information, the head of state noted the traditionally high interest in the Chinese business in Uzbekistan, in addition, the results of cooperation between countries in the field of modernization of the road infrastructure of Tashkent were highly appreciated. The parties also discussed promising plans to create cultural objects in Tashkent.
It was noted that the volume of investments from China in 2024 exceeded $ 10 billion. During the meeting, representatives of the two countries agreed to launch a project to create an industrial zone in the Tashkent region, as well as that companies participate in road construction projects.
With the chairman of the China General Nuclear Power Corporation, Jan Chanli managed to discuss issues of strengthening partnership in the mining industry. The Uzbek side expressed an interest in accelerating exploration and mastering new deposits and supported plans to build a hybrid solar power plant and introduce customs to scanning technologies.
With the chairman of the Camce Corporation, Van Bo the Head of State summed up the results of the joint work on the construction of the Olympic town in the capital. The intensive development of the Yangi Avlod industrial technology park in the city of Tashkent under the management of the company was noted. With the chairman of Goldwind Wu Gang, the exchange of views on the participation of the company in the development of "green" energy was held. In particular, in Uzbekistan, together with the company, it was possible to establish the production of components for wind power plants.
In addition, the parties paid special attention to expanding the portfolio of joint initiatives, in particular, accelerating projects in the field of electric power and infrastructure development of the new Tashkent. Representatives of the two countries agreed on the further localization of the production of wind generators and the activation of current projects. The head of ZTO Express, Hu Syanlyan, also informed the head of state about the intent to launch the online platform to promote customs clearance of goods and create “smart” logistics warehouses in Uzbekistan.
Earlier it was reported that from June 1, Uzbeks will be able to visit China without a visa. Countries approved the order of visits.
